Nature has got it all wrong:

When you are younger, it should be harder to get pregnant, and as you get older it should be easier. When you are so ready, you can’t do it to save your life. And when you are 21, you are so not ready, but you are ripe as could be. The eggs should become more developed the older you get, not die slowly from the day you’re born. That’s one thing God got wrong.” – Halle Berry

I saw that quote this morning on a message board I frequent and wow, isn't it true? Think about it, I'm sure you can relate to this quote.

I've been reading a lot of literature lately regarding trying to conceive and many things that I have read said "start trying before the age of 30"...30? Since when was 30 so old? Even now the "advanced maternal age of 35" seems like a silly cut off to me. My sister is currently pregnant with #4 and she is 36, take that statistic!

Statistically people are getting married later in life and don't start trying to complete their family till much later and that is when mother nature is making it hardest for those to get pregnant.

I even start to wonder if my age is playing a factor in my fertility. I got pregnant with Noah when I was 24 (found I when I was 25 though) and now I'm on the verge of 29. Hmm.
